Omco Metals proudly announces its participation in a new initiative designed to empower our most experienced employees. We are implementing this project as part of the “Support for Companies in Extending Work Activity (ASI+)” operation. This forward-thinking program is dedicated to strengthening the skills and motivation of our senior workforce, ensuring they remain integral and productive members of our team.
This vital project is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, and the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). It falls under the European Cohesion Policy Programme for the period 2021–2027.
Through this partnership, we aim to foster an inclusive environment that values experience and promotes lifelong learning with our employees.
Our commitment goes beyond words. As part of the ASI+ project, Omco Metals is taking specific steps to support 11 employees over the age of 50. A key component of this initiative is the organization of four full-day workshops. The first is scheduled for this December, with three more to follow next year.
These workshops will cover crucial topics tailored to enhance professional and personal well-being, including:
Alongside these workshops, we are developing comprehensive strategies and action plans for the effective management of our senior employees. This involves creating a framework that facilitates better adaptation to workplace changes and encourages the transfer of valuable knowledge between generations.
The goal is to build a supportive, safe, and inclusive work environment for everyone.
This project is designed with our employees’ growth and well-being at its core. The primary aim is to strengthen their competencies, with a focus on digital, green, and soft skills, ensuring they are well-equipped for the evolving demands of our industry.
